I just got through May 2009 that makes 7 years now since I started.
Summer has started now and I really want to finish this car by fall.
I have other projects to move on to and seven years is too long for this one.
I got most of the body work done durning June and July. I bought two new toys though (now that the car is close to finished). I got a South Bend lathe and a plasma cutter, both things I could have used all along. Oh well, better late than never. I have about 4 projects right now for the car, and I still have work to do before the lathe will run.
Of course the Lathe got damaged during shipping and I've spent a bit of time finding parts and fixing it. I also built some more tool drawers for the shop. Am I finding excuses not to finish the car?
I ordered lights and wiring and some other parts this week. I finished the brakes and will put in fluid tomorrow and check for leaks.
